How to Use Your Phone to Grow Your Business

Have you ever started work on a big project or assignment? What’s the first thing you do before you begin?

Whether it’s for school, work, or repairs around the house, your first step should always be research.

Gathering the right materials and resources before you begin is crucial to the success of your project.

Now it’s easier than ever. With the development of the smartphone, everything the world’s brightest minds know is accessible to us. You can use your phone to learn and to improve yourself.

Anybody can do a quick google search. But how you use that information and what you use it for will determine your success.

So how can you use all the information available to you to grow your business? Let’s take a look …

Educate Yourself

There are infinite resources on the internet that you can use to learn more about what you’re doing.

If I wanted to learn how to grow grass fast and even because my dogs and kids tore up my backyard, I can google “grass growing tips”.

And I’ll be bombarded with “54,000 results in 0.004 seconds”.

Home repair? Tire change? DIY bottle rocket? Stock investing?

There’s pages and pages of websites, blogs, and videos to help you out.

Just by typing “real estate investing” into your search engine, thousands of results pop up in just seconds …

So if you want to learn more about a given topic, all you have to do is Google it. And it’s so important because you can’t be successful and make money in something if you know nothing about it.

Even if you’re on a tight budget, there’s some really good free resources that offer a comprehensive understanding of any given topic.

Reading materials and videos are important because you can learn and develop a foundation.

Grow Your Business

Consuming resources can also be used to grow your business.

Like I said above, resources equal knowledge, so just having the head knowledge of something can benefit you.

But the next step is putting that knowledge into practice. When you do that, your quality of life greatly increases.

Believe it or not, resources can be people. They can be software. Or programs. Knowing this and leveraging it can help you take control of different aspects of your business and get things done more efficiently.

This could be something like a virtual assistant.

They can organize emails for you, schedule appointments, make phone calls, or even arrange vacations and travels.

Or something like the Syndicated Deal Analyzer. It’s something that I created to help investors analyze deals and make offers in 10 minutes. Instead of spending hours analyzing deals, all you need is 10 minutes.

You see how something like that can make your life easier?

There’s programs that can automate things like email or SMS sequences. Even google slides is valuable!

Try to imagine creating a presentation of pitch without it … picture how bland and boring that would be. That’s why having access to the right resources and using them is so vital.

So if you want to learn more about something, pick up your phone. Do some research and use everything you have access to.

And next, put it into practice. Just knowing how to raise money from investors does you no good if you never actually do it.
